However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: The child of a Banker, who enjoyed hunting, Kerkad was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. He has achieved small success as a Scribe.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Umpen's homeland. Umpen decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Description: This northern man wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. His clothes are grease stained in places. He has a red handlebar mustache and slicked back red hair. This green eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Engraver profession.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Gormogord was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fisher. He has worked as a Fisher like his father before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Fisher responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
