Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His golden hair, when down, is lengthy. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Shag was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A freak accident while working with his Doctor father left him crippled. During his travels, Shag and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Shag discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Shag fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He found a children's book about a Elf Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Map Maker business.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Miles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
