Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Rurik's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Gifted from a young age, Rurik studied abroad. Through the years after Rurik was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Rurik's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Rurik and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Navigator and was forced into it by his family; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
