History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Gnome Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He's also a talented Map Maker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Map Maker again; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: Glim hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Glim was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.
