His blue leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his pastel boots flare out at the collars, he is not a threatening figure. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines silver.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Mordai is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Mordai was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. When Roondar reached his early adolescence his Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Korfel speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Korfel was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has achieved small success as a Dyer.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and retire the richest man in the west
