History: Ahvain hails from a village terrorized by drow. Ahvain was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Knight. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it
