Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Thorin was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Shipwright. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Thorin was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He takes great joy in being the best Dilettante in town.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
