History: Born in the west to a Fortune-teller, Qualen learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born in a small plains village. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
