History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: He wears dull brown sweaters, loose grey pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed falchion, just in case. He carries with him a set of falchions, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His auburn hair is lengthy. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Baern was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his youth he was a Knight, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Baern fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To protect his home; and balancing his hectic life and new healer responsibilities is difficult

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
