Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Bharash was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
