He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Naeris's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born in the north. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. His blonde hair is cut short. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
