Bertram Klein, Male Half-Elf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Half-Elves. His skin is dark but he possesses many tan ritualistic tattoos. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His hair is short and golden. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fisher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns.
