Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Adran alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Adran was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: To be a Stableman again; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: Born to a Soapmaker, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
