Personality: He is a Barber first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in the west to a Barber, Bathin learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Bathin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Lance has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
