History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. A gifted student he started as a Herbalist, but he got bored and became a Miner. He has achieved small success as a Miner.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: Valorean was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Laucian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
