History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. History: Manfred was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A freak accident while working with his Mercenary mother left him crippled. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
