History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Astar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Astar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Quarion grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
