The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Carrie took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up scythe and armor he uses now. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
