Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Veit and his spouse have recently divorced.
