Personality: Mantus is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He takes great joy in being the best Painter in town.

History: Born in the east to a Painter, Mantus learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Painter. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tabaxi conditions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now mingles about in high society.
