History: He comes from a rich eastern family. A gifted student he started as a Bather, but he got bored and became a Tanner. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, William was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His childhood dream was to be a Mayor, but he was a colossal failure. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he's in love
