Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born in a small island village. Nelkin liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Nelkin was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and obtaining odd cultural half-orc artifacts is his passion
