History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Ortegar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Kipper was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Gardener. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his nunchaku, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. His long bronze crest is drawn into a two foot long braid. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Direcris fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
