Through the years after Shadow was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Shadow's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Shadow and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bellfounder they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Marshal, and he later adopted a second daughter.
