History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Zaffrab has worked very hard to control his curse. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has styled his chestnut hair well, parting it to the right. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He prefers to wear flannel. His blue hair is still thick. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Tanner born in the past three hundred years. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Morthos is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He worked as a nervous Tanner and found it very stressful. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Morthos never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
