History: He got into the Miner business at a young age. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Raer is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Born to a Soapmaker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Butcher kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a tattered pair of loose blue pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. He sports a flattop hair cut. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. The war was a terrible time for him, and Reynard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mayor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.
