Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Heian is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Heian was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Mugrunden never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes him a fraud

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has achieved small success as a Merchant.
