History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Theobald was raised in a hard working conservative environment. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
