History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is a Dilettante first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.

History: He is a Metallic Dragon in disguise. Orryn abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy silver crest. He dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a tan coat with black slacks. He has a hunchback. His long silver crest is drawn into a two foot long braid. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Tarhun is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Detective and was forced into it by his family.
