Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His silver hair is thinning but still full. His ears are large.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Architect hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

His hair is long and white with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small pastel clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 3 years.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and sabotage a competitor
