Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Apothecary who has hired him part-time. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Tailor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He's in love.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Ribbles and his spouse have recently divorced.
