History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
