History: Born in the east to a Shepherd, Nelkin learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He now owns his own business.

Description: He prefers to wear brown pants and tee shirts. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. He wears his golden hair up in a very large beehive style do. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Qualen abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.
