Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His first spouse was a Soapmaker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Soapmaker they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Fortune-teller, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: Lucan lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. One day when Lucan was young, his mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his mother dropped to the ground dead. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Lucan was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them.
