Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He takes great joy in being the best Marshal in town.

History: He was born in the south. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Marshal.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: An older man who has the majority of his body covered in plate, he is not a threatening figure. His chestnut hair is cut short. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Randal is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and is wearing a long, grey cloak. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is auburn and curly. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Detective and was forced into it by his family; and to unite with his sister
