Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull violet iron scale mail. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His black eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Gardener born in the past three hundred years. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He tends to his Gardener job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane, and carries quarterstaffs. His chestnut hair is lengthy. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: He is dressed in an above average manner, and he perpetually has his longsword ready. His fur is yellow and very short. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Serpent was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Serpent fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: A 5'5" eastern man, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His auburn hair is still thick. His skin is flawless and his brown eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Alexandre was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Alexandre's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
