Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He uses divination through singing.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Roland was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Cartwright. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Roofer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult; and he has money and likes to spend it

He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born in the south to a Mercenary, Emerald learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He struck the Mercenary job and began his own company from there.
