His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Rivaan is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Ortegar is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ortegar grew up listening to his father's many stories. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miller. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
