Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While he appears to be a normal Tiefling, he's... not quite right. Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. A true patriot, Varis would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Varis was born with his father's beautiful face. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting dire rats, the young Varis began to lead the lost caravan. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital.
