History: He is a Doppelganger in disguise. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Skak's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He takes great joy in being the best Map Maker in town.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Skak was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
