History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Veit was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Slave Trader hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Cartwright but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.
