Description: The dark-skinned man stands 5'4" and wears a green vest and prefers grey and tan shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His hair is cut close to his head. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Body Guard. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Valorean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dragonborns became a terror of the countryside. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This late middle aged man wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress) and is in decent physical shape. His black fur is smooth and relatively long. His eyes are likewise copper. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is greedy

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a sword on his belt. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. The war was a terrible time for him, and Altho does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Altho was born with his mother's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
