History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Kody was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the north were limited. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush.

History: He was born in a small island village. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Born in the north to a Bather, Jak learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Being a Bather kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This tall, slender man very much looks the part of a Marshal. His hair is blonde, silky, and of moderate length. This brown eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has worked as a Marshal like his mother before him.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.
