His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. After coming to the age of reason, Umpen took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Mehen and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

His red hair is singed and shortened. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
