After coming to the age of reason, Roland took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
