History: Born to a Sellsword, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Elf in existence. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Anselm was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Anselm grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Anselm. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He has achieved small success as a Priest.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Hubert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bounty Hunter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bounty Hunter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
