History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Expand his business.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bowyer. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bowyer for hire.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
