Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a blue suit, violet shirt, and green tie. His brass crest has been sun bleached extensively. His fierce gold eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Bidreked alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His chestnut hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a clover scrunchie. He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Umpen lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Body Guard, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Vanuath was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ruler for the past few years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and wants to open a new tavern
