Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He prefers to wear red clothing when he does not wear armor. His white hair is unkempt and raggedy. His amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Bertram took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up halberd and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Ortegar hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Ortegar abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and many illithids want him driven away
