History: Iados was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Iados was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Iados decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. During his travels, Iados and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Iados discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Iados fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Kerkad was born with his father's beautiful face. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kerkad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Great was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.
